I contacted Jeep care car for a buy back today. We will see how it goes. Had to do this with a VW in 2007. Advised I’ll settle without an attorney if reasonable offer made. Big issue is what to buy? Guessing 4Runner? Broncos seem to have a lot of issues still. If it wasn’t for horrible service I’d give Jeep another try. No loaners and being treated like crap when your car breaks down is getting old at Jeep.

I owned a 2003 Tacoma till 2018 when a got a letter to see my dealer about a frame issue. After my visit to the dealer the factory agreed to replaced my frame and NO cost ($15,000). THAT IS CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH OUT ASKING. In 2022 bought a new 22 Sahara and it has been a nightmare every day . My Sahara will be long gone when the new 2024 Tacoma is released. It will be the happiest day of my life. I really to feel for the owners that cannot even trust the dealership to change your oil much less mechanical issues.

Except for parts availability my local Ford dealer has been pretty stellar with my previous F350. Anything I took it in for was fixed within 12 hours once the parts arrived. There was one point though where parts weren't available for a safety related issue and I didn't have my truck for 2 months.

My wife has also had poor experience with the Chevy shop down the street. Took her Tahoe in for a paint related issue. They at least gave her a loaner but the defect re-occurred on the new part within weeks. Now she's "waiting for a loaner" and it's been months. That's probably more on her for not nagging them about it but just the same, they have the part there and they aren't nagging her to come get it fixed either.

In any case, I think the dealer service directory is a great idea. I'm really not looking forward to having any warranty work done - assuming they ever build my Wrangler.

I must be lucky, the service down here in Arlington at Classic Jeep is great, sales not so much. The Don Davis Dealer in Alrintion is also great for both service and sales. I would use Don davis for everything but Classic is closer to my house.

My JK was bullet proof but I won’t be completely comfortable with my new-used JL until I’ve had it for five years. Seems like when they run well, they run well but when they have any problems at all it’s a damn crap show.

I mean if they were still 25k base price I’d say it is what it is but I’m seeing 2024 2 door Sports with AT and a hard top going for like 42k. For that kind of money you’d think they’d would show their customers with at least some kind of respect or appreciation.

My JK was also awesome!!! 2dr manual transmission. Very few issues until it was rear ended and totaled. It even handled that really well. Miss my JK. My new JL was supposed to be a upgrade and it’s a nightmare

I called them...PRIOR to any repairs they admitted part was less than stellar and tentatively agreed to help with labor as I met them more than half way with my purchase of the Dorman part. There was no haggle...the initial intake man at Jeep...said I see no reason as to why we cannot meet you half way and assured me me this was doable after I asked him if he was sure as the part was going to be ordered for a Monday install....he also advised that he escalated issue and I would certainly be notified within 2 days due to escation
...that was two weeks ago.
BTW ..IT IS COVERED UNDER 6YR 60 MIle powertrain..if I use their admitted faulty design cooler...I'll probably suck it up and go on. I'm basically unhappy with Jeep Cares lack of caring..I did the right thing and got metal and I'm sure I'll watch it.

I can't see replacing crap with more crap...then maybe again til powertrain warranty runs out and oil cooler is NOT covered under my jeep plus 150,000mile extended warranty only Jeep Maximum warranty

You gotta watch for bad camshafts bad oil cooler(plastic) ,bad thermostat mounting(plastiic) and the tick which is oil not lubricating properly

If you think Jeep Cares you are crazy. They will offer a few dollars and in return you must sign a release with no further recourse. Do not do it.
Get All your money back and rethink your options. Sooner the better.
