I'm sure there a quite a few other people on this forum that enjoy playing music. Which styles of music and which instrument do y'all play?

Right now, I'm playing a Taylor 224ce-K. Had it a few years and the tones are starting to come in.

I played a bit of piano, but was never very good (I almost finished Fur Elise, but simply couldn’t play the fast part, so sadly gave up). Our 9 year old, however, has been playing since age 5 (maybe 4) and is absolutely crazy good. Finished Fur Elise a couple years ago. Here’s a song he did for his grandparents anniversary a few months ago:

Amazing guitars. I've become a bit of an instrument collector myself:

Acoustic Guitars:
Martin MMV
Gibson Hummingbird
Taylor 224ce - K

Electric Guitar
Gibson Les Paul
Gretsch Electromatic

And then various fiddles, ukuleles, a banjo, a cello, a keyboard, a drumset, and a trumpet (the only thing im actually trained on).

I'm way too lazy to take pics. Out of all of them, I prefer and play the acoustic guitars the most. I rotate through my 3, but the Martin has the best sound.

The MMV was a great plan by GC...every inch a Martin at about half the price of a D-18.

I do occasionally have to plug in for a gig. Both of my 12 strings, two of my basses, and one 6 string have pickups. I keep a small Fender combo for those times, along with an S-58 mic.

Well, I had a Yamaha YTS-52 tenor saxophone. But my oldest daughter now has it playing in Butler's basketball pep band. I probably won't see it again.

I used to play some piano, but long since forgot everything. My youngest seems to be picking that up, so we're looking into lessons for her.

I'm a guitar junkie. Also play some bass too. My son used to play a lot of drums too, so my office is also a music room. I'm really into Telecasters and play pretty much everything. I've been doodling around about 30 years and play a lot of blues/rock/alt. country/Texas country and everything in between.

Guitars:
GE Smith Telecaster
Brad Paisley Telecaster
MIJ '62 Custom Telecaster
Frankenstein Partscaster
My first guitar, Ibanez Roadstar 2
Gretch G5420
