I didn't have any trouble at all. I started my trip with ~850 miles on the clock in May and I now have ~9200 miles on the clock.

My JL has only had one issue and that was the charlie brown noise coming from the stereo. A new front, left lower speaker fixed that.

Otherwise, zero issues. I'm super happy about that.
What was the hardest trail level on your trip?

@Ohwillyb @UNC Rubicon

UNC Rubicon and myself have been talking about doing a Colorado trip sometime around next June and July. You're more than welcome to join us for that. It would be awesome to get more people willing to commit to a trip out there and it's definitely worth all the views! It will blow your mind.

If you're interested, I'll add you to the list of Forum Members to contact when it's time to start scheduling and getting serious about logistics.

My name is Shawn.
Shawn HELL yes add me to the list. Are you on the Facebook group? Jeep badge of honor?

Trail Difficulty rating for John Bull was a 7-9 out of 10. John Bull was the hardest trail on the Jeep, but the hardest on the mind was Hell's Revenge. Not the trail specifically, but Hell's Gate. It's a stressful climb if you've never done it before. It's intimidating looking at it from the bottom.

Hardest mechanically on the Jeep would have been John Bull, for sure. Hardest on the tires...everything in MOAB and Gold Mountain at Big Bear. MOAB is like sandpaper and Gold Mountain is like razor blades. Hardest on the body was the altitude in Colorado, but as long as you're cognizant of what you're doing from the driver seat, you'll be perfectly fine.

I don't use Facebook. My Social Media consists of LinkedIn and a few apps on my phone along with this forum.

I'm under Shawn Mitchell on the Badge of Honor app, as well.

Absolutely, man!

I drove my JL from NC and wheeled Colorado, MOAB, and Big Bear in the last few months. I have 11 badges now and I"m planning a run to Peter's Mill Run and Crawl Daddy over Thanksgiving weekend.

Here is the thread with all the pics - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/jeepin-the-dream.10162/

I love the idea of these badges; pretty cool perk and motivator to get out and wheel.

I just finished Dickey Bell at Uwharrie here in NC. The trail really only has one section with a challenge, but it's local and I still enjoy going.

Here's a couple videos from Big Bear. Lol. I had just installed my winch that morning in the Holiday Inn parking lot.

I picked a bad line getting up the ledge.

We ran dishpan springs yesterday, hitting John Bull today. It will be my 2nd run on John Bull. Can’t wait to see Mr Ford again.

I did Windrock in TN last week. That place is huge!!!! You really need several days to see the whole park. I was able to do 2 of the trails for badges.

26 and 51. No damage. 26 was challenging as I had to stack rocks a few times going down the creek. Also the start of the trail is a good decline of a muddy road with large ruts. I did not want to damage the muffler or rear bumper. I turned around and went back up it since I was told the other trail I wanted to take out was something I would get stuck on as the road needed to be regraded. Going back up was a lot easier than I thought. Just go on top of the ruts and drove up in 4L.
