The version that I downloaded about two weeks ago that came out around 15 of May was 21. Something or rather, I forget the exact numbers. I had 17. Whatever before downloading. So can anyone list what the current version is?
Drive must be formatted in either FAT32 or NTFS to work. exFAT format will not work. Did you also extract the two folders to the root of the drive, or just copy the ZIP file?I was able to download the update to my 32gb Sandisk USB drive. I extracted the folder into the USB giving me two folders. However, when I plugged it on the Jeep's dash, nothing comes out. Did I miss something?
Update: I re-downloaded the update to my 32 GB USB thumb drive and was able to work. It took about an hour or so. I started it in the morning during my commute to work and left it in park after that. After 17 months, I finally have OFF ROAD PAGES!!!!! So far so good, let's hope no glitches occur in the upcoming days.I was able to download the update to my 32gb Sandisk USB drive. Hi Bill 13,I was excited to try this to see if it might make things run better. It worked easily enough although it didn't like the 128GB drive I tried first but was ok with the 32GB I tried.
I just did it about a week ago but sadly things have been worse so far. While I haven't experienced the sound cutting out issue, I've had the blue screen of death about 3 times so far and that was a rarity previously (4-5 times in the last year). We'll see if it persists but looks like I might have made a mistake loading the update.
It's really awesome when you shut the Jeep off with the radio loud and then load your kids in the car to go somewhere and can't turn it down or off. This morning we had to listen to Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" on the way to school before it thankfully rebooted on its own. Shutting the car off again and opening the door doesn't usually seem to do anything, it seems to need to complete the crash on itself. Grr.
To stay on topic, I did get the Offroad Pages!
Download zip file update to your desktop, open zip file there will be two folders map_package and VP4R_Update. Drag them to your thumb drive.Drive must be formatted in either FAT32 or NTFS to work. exFAT format will not work. The site says i have no updates and its up to date. ;/The version that I downloaded about two weeks ago that came out around 15 of May was 21. Something or rather, I forget the exact numbers. Haven’t gone through it all but it doesn’t look much different. If you haven’t been experiencing any of the screen glitches (i.e., blue/green screen, radio shutting off, black screen) don’t even worry about it.Thanks. Nope. Only on the 8.4I just bought a 2019 JLUR with the 7.0 uconnect unit. It was manufactured in mid June 2019. It didn't come with the off road screen
Well, that solves that. ThanksNope. Only on the 8.4
