My money is on JT 4xe and a few others in the general lineup. I don’t think we see the magneto yet

so there was the all-electric mini-jeep (avenger?) and wrangler's "brother" (recon). but no magneto/wrangler yet... maybe they are waiting on it's own announcement separately?

Recon is a Wrangler in all but name and axle.

Beg to differ... Looks nothing like a wrangler to me. Looks like a refined renegade on roids.

And hmmmmm very similar to bronco IMHO (aside from rear being removable on bronco)

I noticed they were very clear to say the doors and windows were removable. So no removable top, and is it just me or does it look a little smaller than a wrangler.

The Recon looks like a Land Rover Defender to me. The Wagoneer S looks really cool.

I read somewhere that it slots below Renegade.

I know some Jeep 4xe engineers through friends of friends and they have said that the BEV wrangler will not work on the JL platform. It’s 100% not economical to build a whole new platform just for a BEV wrangler when they intended to offer it alongside ICE-based wranglers for a while. So… They’re engineering the next generation wrangler platform to support both ICE and BEV versions, just like the JL and the 4xe (Hybrid). It’ll be several more years before that’s ready to go, at least 3-4.

Looks like the Recon is unibody rather than body-on-frame.

That's not necessarily bad- it reminds me of an old-school Cherokee (XJ) driven by electric motors- but it has implications for modding and repairs (as does the independent suspension).

Having just got a 4XE and being very satisfied with it, I have no intention of swapping it out until solid-state batteries arrive later this decade, but the Recon looks like a reasonable effort. It'll be interesting to see things like max range.
