Thread starter at the bottom of this post —— Consolidating Feedback below (tried to model after Tech Forum structure) —
Give me some grace here - trying to organize based on what I find posted. There was as suggestion from u/sentience below that makes so much sense. For now, it’s me editing this first post.
===================================================

Suspension, Steering, Chassis:

  • Mopar Performance 2" Lift Kit 4XE (Part No: 77072522) - LINK (UPDATED: DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK WITHOUT BOWING)
  • Teraflex JL 4dr: 3.5” Alpine RT3 Short Arm Suspension System (Part No: 1533000) - LINK
    • Teraflex SP2 3.5 ADAPT E-ADJUST PIGGYBACK SHOCKS (Part No: ) - LINK
    • Teraflex JL: 0.5” Coil Spring Spacer Load Level Kit – Rear (Part No: 1155120) - LINK
    • Note: User “eLECTRICON” required modifications to allow shock reservoirs to fit
Exterior Mods:
  • Mopar Spare Tire Swing Gate, Hinge Reinforcement - Mopar (Part No: 82215356AB) - LINK

  • Mopar Light Relocation Kit (Part No: 82215349AB) - LINK
  • Teraflex JL: Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit w/ Brake Light & Camera Mounts–5x5 - LINK
    • Note: This is an alternative to both the Mopar options above. Teraflex doesn’t yet have an elegant way to mount the exterior speaker. The shop I used mounted the speaker with zip ties until final solution developed.
  • Universal Rokblokz Rally Mud Flaps - XL - LINK
  • Coyote Mirror for 2018-Current JL & JT (Pair) (Part No: MJL-800) - LINK (DOES NOT WORK)
    • Note: User “Sboden” reported that the charging port interferes with the mounting of these mirrors

  • SEVEN SPARTA 1 Pair Light Mounting Brackets - LINK
  • Z Automotive Front Camera for JL (Part No: Z-JL-CAM) - LINK (DOES NOT WORK WITH JL 4XE)
  • KC Gravity Light Bar Mount (Part No: 7327) - LINK (DOES NOT WORK)

  • Mopar Service Contract to adjust tire size / speedo
  • Z Automotive Tazer Mini (Part No: Z-TZR-JLM) - LINK
  • AEV ProCal Snap Mod (Part No: 37406015) - LINK (DOES NOT WORK)
    • Note: I had personal experience with this one. Set off all of my dash warning lights. Jeep functioned, but clearly some issues with compatibility.

===================================================

Browsing through the forums in the tech section and realizing that almost any topic category - “Suspension, Steering, Chassis”, or “Underbody: Rock Sliders/Rails, Armor, Skidplates” to even “Interor Mods” are potentially all different for a 4XE. I’m having a hard time finding even a phone holder that is compatible.

I have questions about a number of accessories categories and its quite difficult to filter through the primary forums for stuff that fits a 4XE... Maybe even some of the basic categories like wheels/tire, lifts, interior mods to start.

Here’s a list of stuff I still dont have confirmed answers for:

- Dead Pedal
- Phone Holder / Trail Rail Mount
- Rock Sliders
- Mud Flaps
- Rear Seat Recline (like JK?)
- Fire Extinguisher Mount (prob not 4XE specific)
- Air Compressor Mounting Bracket (and options - interior, engine bay, etc) - no idea if there is room given all the other 4XE stuff...
- Lift (going with the Mopar 4xE specific 2” lift given no other options)
- Exterior light mounting options (can I mount on A pillar??)

Sure there are others I’m not thinking about. Sorry to complain, just having a difficult time finding 4XE confirmed compatible stuff... I know there was / is a 4XE accessories post in here, but not effective in finding stuff by category. What are others thoughts? If you have confirmed fitment, can you post vendor name and part numbers?

A user editable thread wiki style would be nice.

Update 1/12/22 - Found one!

Mini rant. Those charging lights absolutely kill the usability of the upper storage tray. Not enough clearance for a pair of sunglasses, removes a potential mounting point for phones/gopros/dash cams. Since the lights aren’t on while you are driving, they should have been mounted somewhere externally. Not to mention, it is redundant information to the driver - there’s at least two or three different places on the infotainment and driver display that has that information. Why on earth do I need this massive interior light bar?

They aren’t for you in the car. They are for when it’s charging in the driveway. You can take a quick glance and get an idea of how much it’s charged.

Rear E-brake relocation brackets do NOT work (e-brake body mount is redesigned) and you can NOT relocate the e-brake cables under the cross member.

Therefore, any lift in the rear greater than 2" to 2.5" will need some kind of serious custom work done in order to lengthen the e-brake cables.

ProClip mount 213546 does work.
ProClip mount 213546 does work.
As i said, mounts that fit IN the dash tray do not fit without modification.

i expected the proclip to work since it simply clips to the front & back edges of the top of the dash. (I have the Proclip 855431)

do you have a pic of the proclip 213546 mounted on the dash of the 4xe?

was curious if that one would fit since it would go over the top of the charging leds. Wasn’t sure if the leds stick up high enough from the dash to impact placement of the big proclip mount you mention. Part of the reason i have the smaller proclip that i have going over the left side of the dash tray.

Just an fyi, i actually put a long black screw through the proclip at an angle down in to the screw hole that mounts the left side of the dash tray. Just gives the proclip a little more stability over rough terrain.

I completely get where you are coming from on the loss of the dash tray, and limiting your mounting options.

BUT, like ea187 mentioned, i really like that you have a quick & easy way to see the battery charge status when the jeep is plugged in charging.

I think their choice of location for the leds was pretty good. You can see that status from almost anywhere. I back in to my garage, and their location still allows me to see the center of the dash at a glance when opening the door from the house. (Maybe not the best location choice, but really good out of the options)

And when you're sitting inside Starbucks waiting for it to charge. "Another latte please." :)

I can confirm these work fine --

-- Bestop Sunrider (52454-17 Black Twill is worth the extra $.)
-- Carolina Metal Masters dash grab bar ball mount (replaces the bolt, awesome!)
-- Rhino-Rack Backbone System and Vortex bars. (RJLB1, RLT600, QMVA05, VA150B, QMFK05)
-- Hothead Headliners
-- Blue Ridge Overland Gear gear attic
-- Kicker dash top speakers drop-in replacement for Alpine system. (47KSC3504, Metra 72-7902)
-- Grab bar dash tray (generic Amazon version)
-- Mopar front all-weather floor mats work, but the rear ones are too wide. (There's a custom 4xe version that fixes that but is hard to come by.)

There is an existing thread with info on compatible accessories for the Wrangler 4xe, but I do like the idea of having a more manageable/readable list.

I have a post on said thread where I plan on adding/updating the accessories I've purchased as I get them (one of them is a phone mount which you mentioned you were looking for).

On a side note, my Rubicon came with rock rails, but I've seen others post photos of their new Rubicon 4xe's with side steps -- is this how they came? I was never given the option and had to order them after the fact from Mopar (82215164AB - Assist Steps, Side Steps, Molded).

I must respectfully disagree: my folded sunglasses fit perfectly in the little crevasse right in front of the charging LEDs and my phone mount also clears it as well.

Seems like they could have maybe used the hazards with different blink patterns to indicate charge percentage? Could pretty much see that from any direction.
