There's just something about the use of "car" in reference to a Jeep that is wrong.

If I can convert one person to use "Jeep" instead of "car", then my work is done.

Worst is when a dealer or the dealership technician calls it a “car”.

Agreed. Someone was pretty creative in designing that. It’s shocking at first but yes, it’s not half bad. Kind of like the April fool’s joke Jeep posted:

I'm working on it. As I said before, my wife calling my Jeep a car is why I call her Subaru her Lesbian Mobile. So far this strategy hasn't worked, except for me getting away with saying Lesbian Mobile.

I generally agree with the sentiment, although I also also accept truck for a Jeep. It's not really a truck, but it's definitely not a car. Even so, I've referred to an 18-wheeler as a car before. It's sort of a generic term for a thing with an engine that rolls on wheels, and is capable of travel on paved roads.
