Did you start with same platform?
This is not going to be crazy build, welding yes items but just axle flip and box in and same tires as on my Jeep.... And who knows from there.

I started with a 4x6 flatbed and it turned into this. The trailer was $200 and another $500 for the rest of the build.

Order new spring perches to weld on.
Also looking at trailer light suggestions.
Will def be boxing them in so not destroyed even by the little things.

Watching. I just bought a utility trailer for my dirt bikes or my RZR and want to mod it. Maybe make it accept a RTT above the toys.

My only suggestion for trailer lights would be to go flush mounted, if you have enough space in the back.

Flipped the axle and welded on perch springs tonight and trying to figure out how to mount my $30 propane tank.... Yep $30 flash sale on Amazon. Tried to snag 2.... No go

14 ga galvanized steel for floor. I do like your idea of oak sides rubbed in used oil.

Tis quite expensive though. Trying wood route as I have a ton of it.

Got all the wood cut today and then ran out. Just need the top and hinges.
Direction is to use this for storage and camp old-school tent and maybbeeeeee add rtt one day if wife approves.

Some more work. Mocked up propane tank and side tailgate as table.
Welded on some tabs and just stick bolt through!
