I got mine back from the dealer yesterday for the second replacement of the steering stabilizer, this time they used the Fox brand at FCA expense.

I just got mine back for the second stabilizer install at dealer. This time it is the Fox steering damper from FCA, it is part number 70772360, see if that is what they put on yours. Mine seems ok now and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I was told the 3rd revision was bad and a 4th would be out soon. Due to that FCA would said not to replace mine with the 3rd version at this time. The 4th May be Fox, and maybe the solution to all these junk ones is Fox going forward.

Mine is still in the shop waiting on parts like the track bar etc. 16 days and counting this time. All in I'm about 34 days in the shop since picking up my 2019 JLUR in February.

Interesting...my local dealer went ahead with replacing my steering stabilizer with latest OEM one (3rd revision?) last week. Wish I would have known FCA was advising against using the new OEM part...

Guess I'll have to wait and see how it goes

Thanks, started off with massive coolant leaks, then after about 2500 miles the steering went to crap.

I am already past lemon law buyback timelines for repair attempts, days in the shop and now not repaired within 10 days after final repair notice. However I am not pushing for a buyback. I would rather have a extended warranty on mine so I have peace of mind. Really don't want to deal with another order etc. Seems like a lifetime warranty etc. would be much easier.

They may not be advising all, but when the dealership reached out to the regional rep for FCA on mine that is what he was told. I am sure yours will be fine with a new one at least for a while. If they truly do have a 4th version, as soon as your issue comes back I am sure they will swap it out.

No they put a new model OEM on mine. Not sure what they'll do next time. Thing with the stabilizer is that it may hide other underlying issues with other components. This really needs to be diagnosed step by step going through all components making sure there isn't play and properly torqued(I hate going to mechanics because they often use a torque gun which can't gurantee specs). Hope things work out for you with Fox.

I was also told another version was coming out. So at least two people have heard this now. Mine is still at the dealership, hope to know more soon on what all was done. I also may just end up going aftermarket to make it where we feel it drives nice, not what is "acceptable by a dealership"

try putting your tire pressure at 30 psi cold. You'll get a low pressure warning. Just try it. It made a huge difference on my JLUR with BFG K02 tires. Not sure how your 2 dr with different tires would be. My tires were riding on the center and would shift the area contacting the road as it leaned and rolled side to side. This causes a steering (tire input, not mechanical steering system input) input.
ALL YOU JEEPSTERS that preach lowering tire PSI are NUTTS. Of course that can help if your Jeep is wandering BUT it is not the cause of death wobble or other suspension/steering parts that were not built to the correct specifications for a Jeep. So stop telling everyone with a front end problem that their tires are over inflated!!

So with this install is the steering issue fully resolved? Jeep replaced my track bar and dampener, and the steering responds better now, but I still have major "wobble" when hitting bumps.... I just want to feel confident driving it, right now I still avoid highways.
