I’ve owned a 2001, a 2010 and soon to be 2022 Wrangler and have never received or heard about these ducks. Is this fairly new? I’ve only ever heard about them or have seen them hidden on cruise ships.

Someone fill me in!!
Started during Covid in Canada. Basically a way to leave a “nice Jeep” note.

I'll point out that rubber ducks are also a thing with software devs / coders (for different reasons than the Jeep ducking thing). I'm sure there's other reasons for them, too. So having one on the dash might be totally unrelated. Who knows.

I got ducked for the first time this past weekend (you never forget your first time?) and... gotta admit, it made me smile. We live in a world full of bad news these days, but a little harmless kindness goes a long way. And it's just another fun Jeep thing... like waving to other Jeeps or parking next to other Jeeps or hanging out on Jeep forums.

I could tell you, but then....
I’ll say it til I’m blue in the face…the Bronco community can have the whole Ducking thing.
It’s actually one thing the Bronco community and Jeep community have in common. They don’t want the ducks either, and every time someone suggests something like it over there, they get fragged by the rest of the members. And rightly so!

Now I want to get a bag of ducks, hang “nice Jeep” tags on them, start putting them on broncos.

Probably why people started “ducking” Jeeps to begin with. Just sayin.

"We have the same car?! here's a DUCK"

I just don't get it. Have fun with your ducks, hope they don't melt to your dash.

Some people really enjoy the ducks, good for them. Doesn't change anything in my life, so I don't care either way.

One of my buddies that I go wheeling with absolutely hates the ducks, so like any true friend would do, I've been thinking about buying a variety pack off of Amazon so I could duck his Jeep every 2-3 weeks without him knowing it's me doing it. I figure one 50 pack and I could mess with him for almost 2 years lol 😆
What are friends for???

Typical Jeep mentality. Trashes Jeep all weekend off-roading and proudly posting scratches and mud everywhere. Gets upset someone touched their Heep and put a little plastic toy on it. Too bad they didn't require an IQ test to buy one.
