Is washer fluid still pumped to the rear when the hard top is off?

I'm curious if there is some sort of lockout for idiots in case the windshield wiper stalk is pushed forward while the line is disconnected.

Extra details to help contextualize this question:

1. I just purchased a soft top.
2. I'm an idiot.

There is a quick disconnect back there that looks like it functions in a similar manner to a QD on a compressor hose. At least that's how it looks - I haven't tested that theory.

Yes. When you disconnect the rear washer hose, a valve closes inside the connector.
