So after not only realizing the suspension kit I went with is garbage (prior to joining the forum a few rmonths ago), and waiting almost 6 months to get it…and also seeing SO many other better options for roughly the same price (a little more or a little less money) I spoke to the customer service rep today and I am getting a refund. So with the refund, and some cash I can throw now, I don’t want to spend over $2k for the time being for a suspension lift for my wife’s 18’ JLU Sport.. well this site seems almost too good to be true. Has anyone dealt with them or heard anything good / bad? Im going to post some pics from their website, and also appreciated opinions on what would be the best route for my wife’s Pavement Princess. My budget is currently BELOW $2k. With having $2.5k in already for the x5 17x9 fuel wheels and x5 37” Ko2’s.. Thanks.

@hoag4147 hey dude. I 100% was gonna run with that kit. But they keep messing with me and adding more wait time on back orders that “magically” keep appearing out of nowhere. Have you heard of anyone dealing with this site? If so are any of these appealing to you as far as what I am looking for with my current budget? Thanks

@rustyshakelford any useage of this site? Or heard of anyone using it? Prices almost seem to good to be true compared to everywhere else. But atleast now my options are opened a little more since I got a full refund from skyjacker. In the case this site isn’t legit, any recommendations with lifts under $2k that my current finances will allow ?

(remember I do have 17x9 fuel vapors with -12 offset, and 37/12.50 Ko2’s) that are non refundable lol, or atleast without paying a restocking fee which is out of the question

They're owned by Truck Hero. Bought bak-flip tonneau cover from them (they own that a many other brands). Customer service was weak (promised stuff, but didn't deliver). I would not buy from them again.

Good luck

Bought stuff in the past and it went good. Tried ordering floor liners for My jlur this year kept delauing shipment blaming weather when it was 40 and no snow here. Canceled and got refund ordered from "manufacturer" got run around again and emails from same customer service. So they must own multiple companies.
That being said prices are good so if youre not on a huge rush it might be worth a try

Not many buy from there. Plus if 2k budget I believe you can do better like the RK adventure series. You are also getting into a height that requires a new front driveshaft. The others you have directed questions to will weigh in with good suggestions as well. I will also think through and provide feedback. Also - remember most lift companies list lift height from a rubicon so add about 1-1.5” for Sport.

Recent experience group buy with RealTruck for a tonneau cover on the Gladiator forum. I just purchased a TRX and asked if I could get the same group buy price and they honored it no problem. Arrived before my TRX did. Saved $$$ and fast shipping.

@Headbarcode any input / knowledge on this site?
The website sounds somewhat familiar, but I've never dealt with them. From past reading and research, a lot of those brands are in the same league as what you just canceled. Also, most of them being advertised as 4.5"+ kits makes me think that they are roll overs designed for JK's and rebadged for the JL. The only lifts designed for the JL that are higher than 3.5" require long arms and usually coilovers.

I do most of my shopping from Northridge 4x4. They typically only carry the quality brands, and since they're a forum sponsor, they offer us a discount that can save up to 20% depending on the manufacturer. JLWRANGLERFORUM is the coupon code.

As Hoag mentioned above, Rock Krawler is a top shelf option. Metalcloak is right there beside them. They are both high quality options that offer the most amount of articulation, while maintaining excellent daily drive ability. I've also read a lot of good reviews about Clayton. They have kits designed specifically for daily drivers that still like to play offroad.

Ok that’s the route I’ll go. And slap it on. The toss up is between RK, Metal Cloak, Clayton, & Steinjager or however the hell u spell it lol. You still would roll with the RK? Or are all of those options acceptable for it being a pavement princess? Lol. Me personally I like the Steinjager one primarily because I am basic as hell and like the colors lol

Thanks dude for the heads up! Yeah that helps a lot. I replied to @hoag4147 s reply with the ones I have narrowed to down too. And my simple mindedness of the Steinjager one due to its color lmao 😂. But on a serious note, what’s your thoughts on the pictures I posted on what would be a good fit for an everyday pavement princess? Keep in mind I got those 17x9 fuel vapor wheels w the 37” Ko2’s gonna be going on the JL as well. Thanks again In advance dude. As always much appreciated 🤘🏼

I got it, but it had some defects (gasket and skin damage) that they sort of sidestepped, after they promised to replace it... that's why I won't deal with them, again.

Don’t forget shocks. That will increase price on all these. Seen a couple reviews on Steinjager but have seen much. The others are all good choices.
