Is this right? 8.4 pkg price VS tech pkg w/ Alpine

I have a Wrangler on order with the tech pkg (7" screen) and upgraded Alpine audio. The cost of the two packages comes out to roughly $2300.
Am I right in that the $2095 8.4" radio pkg contains everything in the tech pkg and the Alpine pkg for $200 less?

You will need the tech option @ $995 to add the 8.4".

Yes. At least that is what I was told when i ordered mine.

So you can add the "upgraded" audio to the 7" display or the 8.4" to the "standard" audio system if you do the different packages. Or get both in the package.
