Please pardon my ignorance. I am not very mechanically inclined. I would not be able to install the LCA”s myself. Would you guys recommend the dealer or a suspension shop? To do the install. Just want to make sure to have it done properly, and not open myself up to any new problems or make it worst. … also is there any downside with this mod? Thx in advance….
I would source them and take to suspension shop. There is no downside to this mod other than the $80 +plus labor you will spend if you decide to do a full suspension lift later. :like:

I am curious as to what part number other 392 Rubicon have on their lower control arms, here are the numbers off of mine

Driver Side: 68250242AB 61177 0261 a

Passenger side: 68250242AB 61177 0181 a

I have seen other part numbers listed here and I am wondering if they were for a Non 392 Rubicon

Pretty sure all LCAs from Sport up through 392 are the same.

That's where it gets confusing, I have read and have been told by my Jeep dealer that the 392 Rubicon lower control arms are longer due to the increased ride height
I could be wrong but if you google the part number from my 392 it comes up empty
I just looked at a set for sale on RUBITRUX site and this is what I found

There has been 3 different members on here confirm they are exact same. It is crazy they didn’t at least install the longer mopar arms from the start. Only search on 68250242AB, the rest of those numbers are driver/passenger specs.

Yes, I believe I heard the 392 is lifted slightly higher then a Rubi. I attached a part # for the LCA”s that everyone is using from sport thru Rubi. ^^^^^^

Actually, I was given different #for the longer Mopar LCA”s. I attached a snapshot here which I grabbed from another member. These r supposedly the ones to get.

Rick, I did confirm the part numbers of my lower control arms with the dealer, he was the new parts guy but he knows Jeeps and I believe he fully understood me and the issues I was having
I am waiting for a call back from the service manager to confirm it, and it is still going in next Wednesday

I don't understand why they lifted a 392 even higher and used stock length lower control arms?
Doesn't a Rubicon have the least amount of caster out of all of the JL Wranglers to begin with and by lifting it you have to be losing more caster

I still haven't found any information on my lower control arms PN 68250242AB, I don't know if this number is specific to the 392?

PN 68322798AA is definitely the Mopar lower control arm for a lifted Jeep using the Mopar lift

I ordered 2, PN 68322798 lower control arms for a Mopar lift from AllMoparParts.com and they were $31.00 each
Thanks to all that have provided part numbers, I really appreciate it

Rick, I really appreciate your input along with the others regarding this steering issue.
I can't say enough good things about this site! Maybe Jeep Cares but the Jeep owners care more!
