Is This Bad For My Tire? Short Term? Long Term? Rubbing

So it’s a little different than rubbing because there is no motion involved, but my factory spare tire is 100% pushed up against the Westin tire carrier. I don’t have any idea how they expect the factory, or any, wheel/tire to fit without being pushed up against the tire carrier.

I could hear the rubber creak as I torqued it up to 59ft/lbs.

Is this going to be an issue for my tire? I rotate them every 5k if that matters.

You want the tire to be snug to the carrier. This eliminates tire rattle. It should be fine.

Usually the mount it adjustable, so if you feel it is too tight, you should be able to extend the mount outwards.

What size tire?

Don't worry about the tire--

The paint job on the TAILGATE will be ruined in 6 months--

The Jeep spare tire is supposed to have free space from the tailgate and use RUBBER BUMPSTOPS to provide enough "PRESSURE" to eliminate "VIBRATION" and hold SNUG AGAINST THE CARRIER !

You're either missing "SPACERS" or there's an installation error-
