Is this a new style wheel for the 2022 Willys edition?

So I was just on CarGurus looking at the available rides as I wait for mine to be built. While there I noticed that the wheels on a “2022 Willys” looked different from what I’ve always seen on the Willys edition. Any thoughts?

The first picture is what I’ve always seen and the second is what I just saw now.

The latter is a Gladiator Willys wheel.

Perhaps Jeep is learning to share parts, for a change...?

I haven’t seen the 2nd wheel on any new ‘22 Wrangler Willys on dealer websites or in person. The 1st photo is the standard Wrangler wheel.

If you look closely, you will see that the second picture I posted is not the Gladiator wheel either. It’s close yet different.

It’s an all black version of the Recon/4XE wheel (Sport upgrade as well). Aldo’s JT pic is the Launch Edition all black version of the JT Rubicon wheel. They’re very similar as shown below . . . but slightly different. I ran the JT wheel for a short time before picking up a set of the Recon wheels.

My 2022 JLU Willys. As far as I know, this is the only wheel.

All of these wheels, yes the factory ones, are made in China. Jeep may be making do with what they can get right now.
