Is there any way to tell a 2.0 just by looking at it?

He’s cheap and never offers other Jeep drivers a beer because 91 octane eats his wallet.

If he was cheap. Wouldn’t he had purchased the 3.6? Lol. Just playing :)

Good point. I was going to get the 2.0, but decided to pass for several reasons, cost not being one of them. The concept of the 2.0 just makes me think of this commercial. I know it’s wrong, but it makes me laugh.

Remove the muffler? Lol. My kid's Subaru wakes up the neighborhood. Louder than my Hemi. I do like that roar. Why I'm debating a diesel. I can run around my community sounding like a real truck. :)

Why is he smiling? Cuz he’s paying .25 cents more per gallon for 91 octane?
Joe, what are you putting in your Vette? My SSR probably has the same engine in it and I do Premium.

For me it is kind of sad, none of the vehicles I own get the kind of milage I would like - and here it is almost 2020 and none of them FLY! ( far off the ground ) The 650GS is the best, with a high of 78mpg. I have to ride that a lot to get my Carbon Footprint down.

Given all that, I am always surprised at the high level of feeling that get riled up over gasoline and grades and who is putting what into which vehicle. For me, I thought a turbo would do well at this altitude 5k +. ( though I don't see any shortage of other Jeeps around here ) And, I have never owned a Turbo, and I wanted to get one before I died. I hope I like it, but if not, I can fix that.

Tom,

Right on! Air is too thin here and then when we go to 10,000'+ the turbo will help. I've experienced non-turbo vehicles at those higher altitudes and it is not fun. To each their own. Can't wait for them to arrive!

I might make my own badge. I like to add something to make it a little different than others.
I threw these together, they need work but I have plenty of time before I get my Jeep.

I think just “HURRICANE”. If you have to advertise JL then the reader will be clueless to everything else.

I think I saw where there will be a 2.0 on the rear next to the tailgate handle, but I can't find the picture. Maybe I just dreamed it up as I'm still dreaming about owning a JLRU!:crying:

Well, that would be “style” consistent with other Jeep models.
My GC has a V8 4.7L H.O. chrome and badge combination on the hatch.

No, Cuz he passed up his buddies in their pentastars filling up about 100 miles back.
I'm willing to bet that real-world mpg for most folks with the turbo will be about the same as the Pentastar. That additional horsepower and torque comes at a cost when you put your foot into it.

No doubt. Gas mileage goes down when you put your foot in the pentastar. Is it relative to how much the 2.0 goes down? Not sure. I know my wife's 3.6l rubicon drinks it when you mash the pedal.
