Is there a better solution for rear soft top bar?

I am in the process of ordering a new Jeep and this time I am thinking of just getting the Soft Top. The only thing that I hate about the top is how you can’t access the whole rear unless you take the bar and the rear window off. Is there any other solution for this?

I don’t take the entire rear off, just pop the bottom and sides off and throw it over the top. Will it damage it over time? Possibly, but I’ll just buy a new one (they cost about $200).

I heard its hard to fold it over the top due to rigid sides.

After bagging my Bronco order and buying a 4xe soft top, I think the hinged soft top rear is #1 on the list for things I wish I could have transferred over to the Jeep.

Nope not at all, I do this all the time. Maybe brand new out of the box, but after being in the sun, it is very flexible. The rigid corners are part of the side windows, not the rear window.

This right here. Best $150 I spent on my JLU. My son is a hockey goalie and I hated putting his equipment in and out of the back. I bought this and installed it. Now it is like having a hard top with the pop up rear window. Only downside is having to unfasten and then refasten the rear window but that takes minimal time and well worth it.

Wow the price really went up. I paid $159 or $169 at Wildwood NJ Jeep invasion in July.
