Is the UK Rubicon really a Moab?

I took delivery of my 4 door Rubicon three weeks ago, and I'm very happy with the vehicle apart from a few issues like the alarm, and now the ESS not working.

However, after a little digging I see that the UK Rubicon resembles a Moab more than anything else.

1) Different transfer case to the US Rubicon - same transfer case as the US Moab
2) Lower fender flares than the US Rubicon, but the same as the US Moab.

What are your feelings on this?

What’s the transfer case on UK Rubicon?

The Rubicons in the UK have selected-trac

As opposed to the US Rubicons that have Rock-Trac

But the UK Rubicon does have the front and rear locks as well as the sway bar disconnect.
