Hello,

I'm neck deep in videos today and stumbled upon something about the electronic sway bar disconnect option.
I did a search and didn't find much though there has been a few celebratory drinks today.
Seems pretty interesting but I don't remember seeing any info on my build about that.

What is the scoop?

Yep, standard on Rubicons.

You can add your own sway bar quick-disconnects to anything else, but it seems like you have a Rubicon, so no need to over think it.

Cool, very interesting. I’m quite familiar with sway bars on mustangs, can’t wait to see this in action and how it works.

Thanks for the replies.

I love your title, because it kind of contradicts itself prior reading the post. My question is whether the option(al) is standard, or is the Rubicon standard equipment a good option? I don't really know.

Ha, as I said there were a few celebratory drinks! I see your point.

Basically think of it as cutting the sway bar in half with the touch of a button. Prevents the sway bar from working against the suspension flex.

Contrary to what you are used on Mustangs, the point of the swaybar disconnect is to allow greater articulation off road.

I added quick disconnects to my Sahara’s swaybar. Here she is “disconnected.”

Nice, thanks guys, I get the basic idea so more info is great. These cars are really engineering marvels.
