Anyone that live close know if it is open?

May try for a quick trip tomorrow but not sure if it is closed after the rain

I wish I could answer but I'm not sure. If you go up there though and it's closed there are other spots around that area you can check out. Del Sur Ridge is one of my go to spots. If you want more of a challenge you can split off to Deer Trail from there to Drinkwater 4x4.

It was not open Friday but Hungry Valley was.

Does Del Sur connect to it? I'm looking on onX and the connecting trail says 'private'.

About halfway through Del Sur there is a split off for Deer Trail. Then at the end of that you can split off again at Drinkwater.

I think the last time I went was last year and that gate was open to Deer Trail. Last report on TOR is from August of 2025 though. It's supposed to be more difficult from west to east but the descent if you go the other way is pretty nasty as well.
