Appears correct to me. Jeep was an exclusively 2 dr until the introduction of the JK. So the 4dr has only been on the scene for 13 or 14 years now.
I daily drive both....my TJ and my JL. They are both great. Different but great.

I feel like the Bronco did the 2 door better than Jeep, but Jeep did the 4 door better than Bronco

I guess the mall crawlers agree with you.....but there is simply NO real field usage from Bronco owners driving them off road to support the opinion that Bronco did anything better than Jeep.

I'm not liking the looks of the Bronco. Is it just me? Seems like they tried too hard to make Bulbous appearance

I agree. It’s not as ugly as the JT, but it’s not winning any beauty contests. Looks plasticky and toy-like, not rugged.

Gen I Raptor was a home run. I’m not a fan of any of Ford’s style decisions, since. The Gen II looks like a scuba diver.

GMC Sierra, on the other hand… that’s a nice looking truck.

I guess you're so offended that you didn't realize I was talking about aesthetics

Me? Hell no.. I like a couple of GM truck models, but some guys f'em all up with the lift and tire ratio. I prefer a taller tire for our type of terrain. Not into those trucks with super-wide tires (no offense, please, nonintended) just my opinion.

Might be in the minority, especially on a Jeep forum, but IMO Ford nailed the 2door. The way they tied it in to the pre-'77 Bobtails while still making it look modern & fresh was a pretty good design effort. Time will tell how it performs and how well the public reacts to it.

Other than the current JL 2drs this would be the only other 4x4 vehicle that I would want in my garage (assuming it's bite is up to it's bark).

I'm convinced everyone is just used to seeing the four doors now.

Just last week, my ex mentioned her hate for the JT Gladiator - called it "two cars in an accident" and "frankentruck"

Don't listen to the naysayers, a full 90% of all Wrangler owners agree with you that the 4 door is King!
That's just because they don't know what the 10% know :)
Every now & then less IS more  :like::handsinair:

The 2 door Bronco looks a whole lot more like an IH Scout 800, than an early Bronco. Not a whole lot of early Bronco styling cuehere at all in my opinion.

A little of the early Bronco, a bit more of the late Bronco like this 76 (and agree that Scout has a lot of similarities). Either way, I think the new Bronco 2 door is a styling win!

I had a 2dr TJ, JK, and now a JL. Loved them all. The only thing I see on the TJ is the hardtop seems too tall with respect to the tub. Kinda makes it look top heavy.

I’ve decided that what I don’t like about the 2 door JL (and JK) relative to the TJ is the awkward shape of the rear fender arch. To me, it makes the axle look too far forward and just squirrels the whole look. I think they should redesign the rear arch shape to look more like the TJ as shown below:
