Is anyone worried about that low hanging oil drain plug on the 392?

Is anyone else concerned about that?

Is that lower than it is on other Rubicon engine options? And if so, any thoughts on how to protect it?

Are there any 392 specific skid plates out for it yet, or will skid plates from a normal Rubicon work/protect it?

Thanks in advance for any insight or advice,
-Rob

I am. It looks like it's begging to catch a rock. The H pipe too. As soon as someone makes something to address it, I plan to get it.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with what they look like on the other powertrains, but wow does that thing look like low hanging fruit.

I have the 3.6 V6 and I thought the oil drain plug was vulnerable and the first upgrade I did was to thrown some aluminum skid plates on mine. I was very concerned about mine, but haven't seen the location of the drain plug on the 392.

There aren’t anything at the Starbucks parking lot that will snag it. So I wouldn’t worry about it. /s ;)

The Jeep engineers who put it there agrees with this comment.
Well that sucks, I don't even like Starbucks. I coulda felt safe there... :(

Shite! I don't like the look of that plug, or the H-pipe for that matter. I intend to offroad it (offroading an $80K jeep--holy smokes) so that worries me. My 392 is supposed to arrive this month. I would slap a plate over that immediately, if available. Anyone know of one yet?
