Is anyone doing a 3.0 swap in older jeeps yet?

The 3.0 has been out for awhile in the PU and now the Jeep. I'm sure some are getting crashed and totaled out so the question is, Is anyone out there putting these engines in place of the 3.6 yet?

I have a built up 2014 Rubi X and I would love to have a diesel without loosing my butt on the 1 tons and the other $30,000 worth of upgrades on it.

why not just get the R2.8?

If I'm going to do a swap I want all the torque I can get.
A 2.8 is not much different than a stock 3.6 gas
3.0 is 442 lb vs 270lb of the 2.8 vs 260 from the 3.6

A 2.8 is a complete waist of money in my opinion

how do you plan on integrating the ecodiesel in an older vehicle? There are dozens of ECU's that need to be integrated in. Also weight of ecodiesel and DEF/catalysts.

I’m a huge advocate for the diesel but in that circumstance I’d do a 6.4 hemi all day because there are kits to do it

Ls swap will be a fraction of a cost compared to anything else.
Or turbo your engine.... maybe less reliable then LS swap.
