Is anybody running the Rigid Ind. cowl light pod brackets?

I just received my spot and flood pods from Rigid. I have been looking for a clean design for mounting them and came across these after the fact. I do notice they sit off to the side of the hood so you can still fold down the windshield. All the other brackets I have come across sit more on top of the hood. Do you think that being on side would block some of the light? Looking for anyone with experience on these.

These will block some but they would on the hood too. Are you putting the spots on the top or bottom?

That look pretty nice and away which give you better visibility during the day. How are they at night? What type of lights do you have? Combination of spot and flood?

I love these, but they cannot be angled outward. I have two facing the right and left side so these won't work for me.
