2 ppl no problem but as stated by @RubiRob getting it off with one person is a pain.. off was not so bad, but getting my 6'3" 235lbs out from under it to put on the ground was quite comical. First time taking it off should have had something elevated to set it on
With two people you don't need a hoist for the four door either. But where are you going to keep it? I have my basic rope/pulley hoist in my garage to where I back in, remove top, and then can park under it nose in. You dont need door hangars either but in the long run you will be glad you do rather than stacking them all over the floor or against the wall taking up space and likely to be damaged.
You NEVER NEED A HOIST for any of the JEEP HARDTOPS--but-
If you don't have a QUALITY HOIST --every time you remove/install the hard top., you'll take an EXPENSIVE CHANCE that the top may need replacement--$1000 to 3000 bucks--
