Finally about ready to order my lift kit. Since the prices are the same, should I get 3.5” instead of 2.5”? What problems would the additional lift cause, what benefits would it bring? Would 35’s look stupid small with the 3.5”?

I have a 3.5 inch lift with 40x13.50r17 tires. IMO it is too much lift for 35s.

35s will look small and there will be large gaps between the tire and fender flares.

Additionally, at that height, you are more likely to run into caster issues, steering geometry issues, and driveline issues.

I have a 2" lift with 35s. I could easily run 37s with it. Unless you are planning on bigger than 37s someday I wouldnt go bigger than 2" lift.
