I've had my new jeep 36 hours, and I'm trying to go through the guide, but figured I'd just ask.

how do I turn off the Interior lights getting in/out of the jeep? It's freaking annoying.

I want to get in it and not be lit up like a christmas tree.

Next to the headlight switch you have two dials. One adjusts ambient lighting (door handles and foot wells). The one next to it adjusts the dash light. If you roll that one all the way down you'll feel a detent that "clicks" into the lowest setting. By dialing it there your dome light will not turn on when you open the door.

On a side note. That same dial turned all the way up has two detents. One will set the dash lights to max (aka "parade mode") so your dash is a the highest brightness even when you headlights are on. Such as when you're in a parade, hence it's name. The next click up will turn the dome light on. That lights all 4 rather than pressing each on individually, which you can do to provide light to each individual seat position without blinding everyone else in the Jeep.
