pg 65 of owner's manual: "When a door is open and the interior lights are on, rotating the dimmer control to the extreme bottom position will cause all the interior lights to turn off. Tis is also known as "Party" mode because it allows the doors to stay open for extended periods of time without discharging the vehicle's battery."

"With the parking lights or headlights on, rotating the right dimmer control upwards will increase the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Rotating the left dimmer control will adjust the interior and ambient light levels."
Ok... Party mode.... incase you using the sound system etc for a party... i can get that......Parade mode? I am expecting flashing leds or something here... lol

Has there been any kind of UConnect updates or anything to address this issue since the original post? My wife was grumbling about it this afternoon (Ive only driven a couple of miles during the day & it worked fine for me). :)

There are two barrel switches for the dome and dimmer, the one on the left is the dimmer and the one on the right is for dome and dash, if you roll the right one all the way up the dome light will come on and stay on but to get the dimmer to function you have to roll that same switch two clicks down or the dimmer function wonā€™t work, once you roll it down the two clicks you use the switch on the left to control the brightness and actually itā€™s not that bright.

I keep the one on the left rolled all the way up and the one on the right rolled two clicks down
