Insurance: JL vs. KL

So I got my insurance renewal for the year. The shocking part is the "collision" part of the policy. The KL is almost 3 times as much as the JL! This is with the same coverage levels and no prior records on either my wife or I.

I called to inquire why and my agent said the companies rate the Cherokee higher because "they've had to pay out a lot more on them."

I was told by my insurance agent that the part so much easier to change on the Wrangler. My bill was less when I changed from a 15 Colorado Z71 to 18 JL Sport.

Mine was only a few dollars less with the JLUR vs a 17 Silverado LTZ
