So last Monday my family and I went to the beach, the instrument cluster and everything work just fine. When we went to leave the instrument cluster did not come on at all after starting. No speedometer, tach, fuel guage, nothing. The radio, usb ports, and 12v outlet worked fine. When I got home I checked all fueses and relays and made sure they were seated properly, disconnected both batteries for around 30 minutes, and rechecked all fuses just incased I missed something. I can't think of anything else besides wiring or a failure of the IC. I've seen other threads where something similar has happened but for those individuals it came back on, unfortunaley mine has not. If I just put the car in run it makes a high pitch noise that im not sure where its coming from, but definitely doesn't sound normal. I appreciate any and all help, I have an appointment with the dealership on the 10th, hopefully I can get this figured out before then.

The dealership diagnosed it and the cluster did fail. They said it was a $1000+ for just the part. Called parts department he said $500. Called my brother in law who works at a dealership he told me $300. Went online to the mopar website bought it for $280 got it a week later

It doesnt make sense. I have to use dealership cause its still under warranty and free but the time it has taken is ridiculous.

^^ Did you get yours fixed? This just happened to mine. It's virtually a brand new car, I'm not gonna be happy waiting months for a part. Esp since I can't see how much fuel it will have

I did. But I did it myself. I ordered the part through mopar because my Jeep wasn’t under warranty anymore. It was significantly cheaper than going through the parts department.

When I went to drive my 2019 JLU the dash cluster was completely dead. It's my only vehicle, so I need to figure out how to fix this. I have read through a lot of threads on this forum, and it seems I am not the only one having this issue.

I noted that many folks take it to the dealership, only to have them keep it for months. I can't afford to not have my vehicle. I am ending my seasonal job TOMORROW, and will be needing it to find a new job ASAP. I had to drive it today, so I used Google maps to gauge my speed, which was bonkers. I also topped off the gas.

I can do some repairs myself. I checked the fuses, all are fine. I guess next I will check the batteries, but I haven't had any issues. The Start/Stop sometimes causes me grief in that it will malfunction and will throw an error message.

If I DO have to replace the whole cluster, does anyone have any advice on what I need besides the cluster?

Darn... first the whole exploding clutch the first year, and now this.

I feel your pain! It didn't happen to mine again (yet) and its been 5 months I guess.

I've been calling like every week for that clutch recall and they said they have no solution too. I'm not thrilled to be sitting on a bomb either.
