I just installed the Teraflex 1.50-Inch Performance Spacer Lift Kit on my jeep JLU rubicon. What size falcon shocks should I get for best ride? Should I get the 2-3in lift or 0-1.5 lift shocks?

I’m also curious which to get but for the diesel rubicon, it sets about 1” taller than a gas rubicon.
looks like most people are running 0-1.5 on the rubicon.
one person said the 0-1.5 shock is 1” longer than a rubicon shock. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/1-5-inch-spacer-lift.12882/

We are interested in getting some long term evaluations about Teraflex 1.5in ST1 lift and shocks each of you went with. Appears you have all installed this setup a few years ago. We would welcome hearing anything you can say about your experience on the lift, shock choice, or anything else.

Bump stops will play in to your decision. Looks like the 2-3" 2.1s fronts have a compressed length 2.15" longer than the stock Rubicon shocks. Without extended bump stops, you'll bottom out the shock before the bump stops contact.

To follow up, looks like the extended length is a significant difference as well. The 2.1 0-1.5s are 24.25 compared to the 2-3s at 27.6. Stock Rub is 23.63, Mopar 2" foxes are 26.25.

Since the 3.1 0-1.5s extend to 26.6, I'd go for the 2-3 (if you're going with 2.1s) with a 2" extended bump stop, unless someone more knowledgeable has better input. I'm not sure if the stock arms have enough flex to take advantage of the additional droop. But this also sets you up in case you decide to increase lift in the future.

same as the day I had installed it, 45k miles ago. Firms up the ride for better handling. Happy with the purchase.

You have the 2.1 Falcon 0-1.5" lift shocks, right?

Falcon shocks and “best ride” are not usually used in the same sentence.

I just installed the Teraflex 1.5" spacer lift on my JLUR as well. I additionally added the following;

2" front and rear bump stops (Mopar lift)
Extended front and rear sway bar links (Mopar lift)
Mopar lift LCA's
Front and rear Bilstein shocks (5100)

I found the Bilstein's ride very smooth and they were definitely priced right, but I need more time to evaluate how this setup works before I recommend anything.

Could you provide the part numbers for the Mopar lift extended front and rear sway bar links? How much longer are they than stock ones?

I actually didn't measure them before installing. But they are definitely longer, (and they do not appear to be too long for the lift which is 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear).

Next, I am going to relocate the rear E-Brake cables below the crossmember with the Rancho RS62136 Emergency Brake Relocation Bracket.

The Teraflex kit has you remove the bracket all together (but they don't say anything about relocating the cables themselves)... I don't like the idea of the cables being unsecured.
