It's been good although just recently there has been an issue with sputtering under full boost when the outdoor temps are below 30 degrees. I have a hunch it's related to the spark plugs so i will be swapping them with new ones soon. I'll post an update if I get it resolved but it's not really a priority for me since it runs good most of the time. I have about 15,000 miles on the supercharger.

Since the time I originally posted this thread I've swapped the pulley with a smaller one to gain more HP in the summer time. Last summer I dyno'd it at 370HP at the wheels. It generated a lot more acceleration and feeling in the seat. In the winter I reverted back to the stock pulley since there's usually snow on the ground where I live and the extra boost makes it hard to control.

My ‘23 JLU 6 speed showed up today and the first thing I did was open the hood and check which computer it had. I’m in luck, it has the type that can be tuned. I wonder if they have tuning for 2023 models yet?

Hey everyone, I wanted to give a heads up and let you know I am selling this supercharger kit.

Magnuson kit P/N 01-19-36-003-BL

It will be complete with everything the kit came with. I will also include a smaller pulley and belt and several tunes I have that were dyno'd on my 2021 6sp manual trans. I have tunes for the stock pulley and tunes for the smaller pulley. Keep in mind my tunes were done at altitude at about 6,000ft. The supercharger has 16,000 miles on it and works perfectly.

I do not know what my sell price will be just yet but I will post a formal ad in the for sale section once I have everything removed and pictures taken. I will also be listing it on eBay. But if you are interested send me a PM and I will offer it to you before posting my ad. I'll offer it in the order I receive.

Are you keeping the manual?
Yes I'm keeping it a manual. But I'm replacing the stock Aisin AL6 with a Getrag 238 6spd

Hi,

Not sure the gearing but the 3/4 ton pickups of the same era came with a G56, it's a 6 speed with a creeper gear and might be heavier duty than the one's that came behind a 4.7, also same trans that was in the Cummins just a different case.

Good luck with the swap either way.

Regards,
Jim

Since you have a 2021 model year you need to confirm your PCM is a GPEC2A and not the GPEC5. Jeep was forced to transition to a GPEC5 PCM mid year 2021 due to the chip shortage. The GPEC5 cannot be unlocked by HP tuners at this time. Therefore you cannot load the tune necessary for a supercharger. It would be a bummer if you discovered that after purchasing a supercharger.

yes I have a 23 Sport 6MT and was bummed out to find this out bc I wanted to get the Livernois tune. Such a great deal for $700ish!!

I just installed mine with the help of others on here that helped clarify things that were a bit difficult to interpret in the manual. It also didn't help that the official Magnuson install video is shot on a JK. I ran into 3 issues, 2 of which are still unresolved. One was the tabs to mount the water pump for the intercooler were not on my vehicle where the manual said they would be (spacing was different) so I had to make a bracket. No big deal. Another issue was the jeep already had an aftermarket intake on it that Magnuson's tube does not fit. They told me to buy a stock intake because that's what their tunes are optimized for. But seeing the upgrades the OP had on his makes me feel like it will run fine if I could just figure out a tube. The biggest issue I'm having is with the tune. Magnuson cannot read my stock file for some reason and therefore cannot send me a modified one. I'm working with them and they're working with HP but I currently only have a cool looking Jeep that doesn't run.

Well I finally got it sorted out enough to drive. I am seeing what I consider high IAT’s, 160F cruising on the highway at 65 with little to no boost. That’s about double ambient for that day. Magnuson says this is normal but I’m curious what others with the kit are seeing?

Thanks for the thought but I'm totally satisfied with the way it is. I know I can get more out of it with some mods and a different tune but I'm all about keeping it safe and reliable. That's also the main reason I'm sticking with the Magnuson tune because I know engine safety is one of their main goals. I'm not very hard on my Jeep and it mostly just sees dirt roads and the grocery store.

I hear you on the transmission, trust me it's definitely something I think about but not worried about. I had a Dodge Dakota a few years ago that I supercharged. It had a 5-speed manual and I was about 100HP over what it was rated for. I was hard on it, slamming gears and shifting fast. I burned up a couple clutches but never popped the transmission. I also had a Toyota SR5 that I had a built motor in and it also had a 5-speed. Now that was a turd of a tranny. I ruined 2 transmissions before deciding to convert it to an automatic. But as for the Jeep I really think the 6-speed can handle the HP and TQ I'm at now, especially if I don't slam gears or over work it. I'm not running tires over 33" and it doesn't weight much being it's a 2-door. But lets say I do pop it, I'm not stressed, it'll just be a reason to have one built that can handle what I'm doing haha.

To the original poster. Did you hemi swap it because the 3.6 failed under boost?
