OP- your Jeep looks great!

I've taken almost the same approach (I did add a 1.5" spacer lift, though). I also like the "stuffed" look- and I wanted to run 37" tires.

Deleting the spare is perhaps the best thing I've done to my Jeep so far (better visibility, easier on my tailgate, the back end comes up 1/2", plus shedding 80 lbs helps with the get up and go- it's the equivalent of adding 8 hp).

The new wheels push the tire center 1.5" outwards, and as mentioned I added a 1.5" spacer lift (which is actually 1.5" and the front 1").
Going with just a small spacer allowed me to keep the stock shocks and control arms, and it is such a slight difference I didn't even need to adjust the steering wheel. I did add 2" of bump stop, but honestly when we flexed the suspension I could probably go with just 1" of extra bump stop).

I've had no rubbing whatsoever in actual driving- including offroad. We determined maximum flex combined with maximum turn creates very slight contact with the stock inner liner- but the offroading I do is unlikely to create that situation very often if ever.

I also agree with the "need" for 37." I went back and forth between 35" and 37" and really glad I went with the larger tire. This was just the look I wanted, and the combination of tires/spacer has gained me just over 3" of ground clearance (which is the main thing I need for the type of offroading I do).

Great looking Jeep Varilux! Its amazing how much bigger those 37s look on 2drs. If I ever did lift mine I'd likely do the same as yours.

You are throwing some serious lumens down road!

My Rubicon is the last vehicle I'd want to be driving in serious wintry conditions, my wife's Civic is at the top of the list.
I’ve been really impressed with my cooper stt’s In the snow. No civic (or any car with less than 6-8”ground clearance min) is getting anywhere near my driveway in the winter; we had a 3’ dump, several 2’ dumps, and more than a few 1’ dumps this year.

Nice to meet a fellow foothills Jeeper.
Been a white winter for sure! And typically you guys in Conifer get even more than we do in Evergreen.

I've been rocking this setup for several months now and couldn't be happier. The torque from the 2.0T handles the 37s without breaking a sweat. Why no lift? Simple; I wanted to keep suspension geometry as close to factory as possible while still being able to swallow 37s. You NEED 37s, even 35s look puny on JLs IMO. I'm not rock crawling so 100% clearance at MAX articulation was not the focus. If I'm able to wheel mild and moderate trails without issues I'm good. This setup does exactly that. The icing on the cake is that "low and wide" stance you get with no lift. Its all personal preference guys! Its all about proper wheel offset/backspacing + tire selection for clearance. The point is you can run 37s (not just any 37 setup though) on a stock JLUR without too much fuss.

Looks great! I thought the fuel wheels only came in -15 or -38 (those wheels)?

Totally off topic here, but I've always wondered this... What is the appeal of buying a JLUR as you have no intentions of doing any hard offroading?

I'm not knocking your decision in anyway just really curious.
“Hard” is a bit relative. I bought mine so I would be able to go to 35s without too much effort and be over prepared for the trails I’d like to handle.

^^^ Yes, I have clarified that multiple times in this thread. To be fair MOST tires are NOT their actual stated size when mounted up and under load but K02s definitely run on the smaller side of the spectrum.

I would consider 37" K02s a "jumbo 35" LOL

Looks good! I also have sting grey, and same exact wheels and color! I ran my 37s for several weeks before my lift came as well, and drove pretty well, no rubbing unless hitting a bit transition or dip.

I was just checking out your rig...great taste LOL! When you get the Jeep so muddy you can't tell what color it is you are definitely using it as intended my friend!
