The unpainted spacers are not that noticeable at all. You could paint or black Plasti-Dip them easy enough though.

I'm OCD in regard to appearance.. I did not find it necessary to paint the spacers but did come up with a way to have a black Gorilla Lug Nut filling every whole on the spare.

To me the OEM relocation of the 3rd brake light is the way to go.. The cutesy, carnival light like, 3rd brake light ring, does not appeal to me at all... and the / a light ring is not compliant when you get the vehicle inspected, whereas the relocated 3rd brake light is.
