I stopped by the dealership this morning to look at the new tires. I forgot my level but the tires appeared to measure less than 34.5 inches. The weight came in at 71.14. Here are some pictures. I will measure the height again when I have them installed. Just waiting on my lift kit.

For mixed use and 3PMS rated I think these just might be the best a/t tire on the market. I didn't want to wait for the 35x12.5 to be in stock as there was a national backorder, so I chose the 315/70R17 E tire. It showed up in under a week and I had them installed 2 days after taking delivery of my 4xe.

Coming from a JK with 37" KO2s it's hard to say what characteristic changes are from the tire and what are the upgrades of the JL. Saying that, this thing feels planted yet responsive. It gives confidence at speed, maintains it's tracking, rides comfortably, and so far I can't tell a difference in the wet or dry. Combined with the 4xe, there is virtually zero road noise.

I can't wait to see how they do on the FS roads and in snow, but barring any wear issues I think they may just be best in class.

Keep in mind the height may actually increase a bit once they're mounted and aired-up.
look forward to installed pics.

Same here. I received them today and they weighed on my scale 71.8 pounds. I measured them standing (not inflated or mounted on the rim) and measured 34” and if I calculated the diameter from the circumference which I measured 104.25 inches, the diameter would be 33.18” which is really low. I measured my falkens MTs and they measured 31.75 with 15k miles on them. They are supposed to be 32.7” and I don’t think they would loose an inch of rubber from new. All these tire sizes are really fake advertisement. I will post the weight of the tire mounted to compare with the originals.

By the way, how should I calibrate the tire size with my tazer mini? The computer reads 33.07 OEM but the tire size I measured of the oem tires was 31.75. Should I measure and input the real size or round up to 35 with the tazer?

I was concerned about that too because my tires measured about an inch shorter than advertised when mounted. I entered their advertised number and it’s confirmed by GPS that I’m spot on. Thing is, so is the factory tire.

I think as long as you compare advertised to advertised then just put in the advertised number.

Thanks, I will try that. I’m currently installing them now.

Heron, I had measured the same height as well eye balling it.
I looked up the size again when I got home and thought
maybe I had measured it wrong.

Here are the photos before and after. First of all, these 35x12.5r17, are not 35s. Not even close. I measured them and they are just 34” tires. Not even close to the 34.5” they advertise on the MT website. This is just the same scam subway was doing with the footlong sandwiches that were just measuring 10-11”. Just be honest. Advertise the real tire size. Other than that I am very happy with them. They handle well, no difference from stock in terms of ride quality. I updated the tire size to 34.99 with the tazer and it shifts good and it shifts to 8th gear. I wonder if I should just set the tire size to 34” with the tazer since that’s the true measurement.

Decided last week to go with a set of these in 37s over Cooper STT Pros. 2-4 week backorder.

Hoping I made the correct decision there. All the reviews have been pretty good so far.

Did your tire size changed after mounting them? Mine are just about 34" mounted.

Mine are still in my shed waiting :(
Shouldn't change much but some actually gain a bit of height when mounted & aired up over just the tire by itself.

Mine are the ATZ P3s, they are 315/70/17s and are about 34.5 unmounted, so we'll see :)

I am planning on the AT Boss in 35” for my 2021 JLUR. I had two sets of ATZ P3 (=10 tires) on my 13 JKU which lasted me 45k miles on each set. Absolutely superb tires for the South West U.S. I suspect the AT Boss will be just as good, but hopefully 🤞🤞they will be a little smoother and quieter as they wear.

I tried a set of 35s BFG AT2s on my 2020 JLUR thinking they would be a nice change and although a tuff tire, I did not like them as much as my ATZ P3 tires on my 13 JKU. So it’s back to Mickeys for me.
