. It's not a terrible system once you understand how it operates and adjust the sensitivity to match your driving style. I have had far fewer braking incidences than what people who have never driven with the systems are claiming, but their ignorance shows to be more prevalent in the forums. Living in a college town with a lot of younger and less attentive drivers, the system has been a boon. (The traffic crews use their electric signs to remind everyone to not text and drive instead of about road work.) I'm still pretty young and sharp at driving, but it's reacted faster in those instances where someone cuts me off from three lanes over and slams their brakes to turn into Target or star sucks.
The Hard Rock was the name of the top-of-the-line JK Rubicon that came loaded (options-wise) from the factory. The steel bumpers are part of the factory package, and are virtually identical to the JL steel factory bumper option.
After reading first post I was confused too but jks had a hard rock edition which came with steel bumpers so I’m assuming this is what they mean by stock hard rock bumper as far as I know hard rock 4x4 doesn’t have plastic trim bezels
It happens in the diesel threads as well. They've never owned or driven one but all come out of the wood work to say how sketchy or terrible they are or that the "gubment" is going to regulate them into oblivion so why bother.

I suspect that all of us had our attention lapse, if only momentarily, the very last time we drove.
I love the blind spot and cross traffic monitoring, although I don’t have the active braking system. Does it include lane assist in the Wrangler?
No lane keep assist.
As Bryce pointed out, no lane keeping assist. As much of an advocate I am of safety systems, lane keeping assist seems to be somewhat intrusive on other vehicles, so I'm not disappointed by its absence.
