Improvements of JL by model year?

I think what Jeep is mainly referring to is the fact that before the left side USB used to be a data usb which could connect to the head unit and play music and such, it was USB 3 (USB1 being the usb under the media door on the dashboard and USB2 being the one inside the center console storage. I don’t know when it happened, but they replaced the data USB3 in the back and turned it into a basic charge port.

I missed that little detail. I will have to check mine to see if it is a data port or charge only. (I currently only use the one in the center console for car play)

Same here lol I’ve never plugged anything at all in the back charge ports in the almost one year of ownership because I only use USB2 with my phone

I run my dash cam to it. Lol.
