Nope the price is apparently ready to drive ie VAT included and “homologation” in Luxembourg ... it’s bought in Canada where the prices are really low

Imports are already available, expensive? yes, but TUV approved, check Geiger or Wittkopp in Germany, only other option is what Euro Jeep mentioned, get a US citizen to buy and import but will have to do the paperwork yourself. Importing by itself is not a big deal. As a friend of mine says: "there are completely different human beings in the US that can take much more beating so the safety standards here are different."
