I picked up my new JL last week and checked the fuses b4 I left the dealer. I counted 34 of them that were not seated correctly that I fixed. I appreciate the info provided on this thread.

Picked up my 2020 a year ago. I popped the hood and went to the fuse box. Guy said "Oh we checked all that during prep". This was my look as I was popping in 80% of the fuses and relays.

I have a 2021 JLUR and decided to check mine after logging 1k miles on it. I had 3 fuses that clicked into place but the all the rest were seated properly.

I picked up my new Snazzberry Willys Edition last Friday.

While the paperwork was in process I went out to walk down the vehicle. I had remembered the comments about checking the fuses I found online.

I told my sales professional what I was off to do. He had a funny look on his face.

I counted 13 fuses that were not fully seated. I let the sales professional know what I found and suggested he let the service side look into adding that as an item on the pre-delivery checklist.

Anyway, no magic smoke was released by the Jeep when I drove it home.

when i went to pick up my Willys Diesel, part of my acceptance inspection was to check the fuses.
as expected, approx 50% of the fuses were loose enough to require re-seating, and 100% of the relays were loose.

i would also advise people to check not only the tire pressure, but the wheel lug nut torque. while the tire pressures on mine were all very close to spec, the wheel lug nut torque was all over the place, from seriously over tightened, to seriously loose, to both over-tightened and loose on the same wheel.

After reading this thread I checked the fuses on my 2021JLUR that I've had for 4 days. About 25% of the fuses clicked into place when I pushed them down. Amazing that these vehicles can leave the factory like this. There are 3 fuses just behind F91, F96 and F99 that aren't labeled and don't show up on any diagrams I can find. Does anyone know what these are? I've circled them in the attachments. The 2 on the left are seated, but the 40A green one on the right is loose and won't seat. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I found the same thing on my new 2020 Rubicon/Recon, about 6 loose fuses and 2 loose relays.

I think the one's that won't seat at all are spares. The list of uses in the manual includes a number of spares.

Thanks for the heads up.
I just checked on my 2021 JLUR and, yep, quite a few were not seated and made that satisfying "click"

If my 2021 JLU came with all the fuses seated, do I win a prize?
LOL.

‘when I took delivery of my 2020, i too checked my fuses and I don’t recall any of them ‘clicking into place”... they all seemed seated.

in the following 15 months, no electrical problems.

Picked up my 2021 JLU Rubicon Friday and told salesman I wanted to check fuses. We opened the fuse box and I started pushing on fuses and relays. Every one of them were fully seated! Don't know if there service dept. seated them during prep or if factory finally got the message.

Just picked up my new 80th Edition yesterday afternoon. First thing I checked when I got home was the fuses/relays box and all were fully seated.

Seems so strange that such a routine thing would go unnoticed at the factory and so many dealerships.

Hope FCA has it all sorted out now.
