First Jeep. Wasn't planning to modify it, and even ended up with a JL because all the used JKs were lifted and I "didn't want that."

One of my first posts:
I'm new to Jeeps, and historically I've been sort of frugal with my vehicles, but not totally. I don't really plan to mod my Jeep right now, since mostly I'm what folks affectionately call a poser on these forums. I'm getting one so I can have a convertible that seats 5 (otherwise one of the kids doesn't get to come with), and my wife liked the look of the Rubicon, so mall crawling here I come!

I got some LOD slider steps because I liked the look of them, and our 9 yo needed some help getting in. Then I went offroading with my son:

After that, I realized that this is something we both enjoy, but it was quite challenging to do this in a stock jeep.

So on went:
Nitto Ridge Grapplers 315/70/17
Black Rhino Overland wheels 17X9.5(or 9?) 4.7" backspacing
Metalcloak 3.5 gamechanger rocksport edition
Adams front driveshaft
Quadratec skid plates
Metalcloak FAD skid & steering stabilizer relocation
Metalcloak rear diff skid.

It was amazing the difference in what I could do with this change:

Now I'm waiting on the following:
Ace stand alone tire carrier
Synergy drag link and tie rod
Fox TS steering stabilizer (got the JK version that will clamp onto the synergy tie rod and replace the trackbar bolt for the new mount.
Rancho Front diff cover
Rancho front diff skid

After all this, I've promised my wife I'd lay off for a while. But here's what is coming after this:

A winch Not sure what kind, but I don't want a $2k winch.
gears: I'm going 5.13.
Bestop Core Doors (come on Cassie from @BestopTeam , show the JL some love)
I will probably replace my Quadratec skids at the end of next summer too if they don't start looking better.

What else should I consider? My terrain is mix of mud/steep slopes/off camber, tight trees and rocks/boulders.

Ha! I TOTALLY know the feeling! Years ago I bought a new 350z saying its nice already, I don't need to mod it. That might have lasted a month! Beautiful jeep man!

I'd look at bigger tires with your lift...atleast 37s and many run 38s.

Added an ACE tire carrier

They are easier to work on when you suspend them from the ceiling!

front differential skid, Synergy drag link and tie rod

Now at the professional's shop. You can see where I added a smittybilt X20, Cascadia 4x4 flip up plate and a flat-link here.

Gears and truss are in. I had an alignment and now I just need to figure out what’s going on with my cb antenna. Pics of truss and gears in progress:
