To set the record straight, the "he" is a "she." I DID NOT say ANYTHING mean to this lady who could have potentially damaged MY vehicle that I haven't even made the first payment on. Not only could she have damaged something that belonged to me once but three times. I didn't threaten her. I didn't advocate violence towards her. I only banged on MY window and pointed out what she was doing so that she would step away from MY vehicle with that damn umbrella. I was only venting on here to people I thought would understand and not take things so damn personal. I hope and prey that I live to see her age; I'm sure we probably all do. I am by no means a young individual, but I do have enough of my vision left to see that she had the potential for damaging another person's property. So for all you folks who got your panties in a freaking wad over this, maybe you should take some Excedrin PM and call it an evening.

There's zero reason for anyone to touch someone elses car. This always drive me nuts. Their inability to get in and out of their own car should have no cause or effect on you or your car.

Can't help with the umbrella, but for close parking, install a set of triple tube sliders. They protect the sides from all doors except tall vehicles. I actually don't mind seeing people park close, sling their door open (with no worries as to what is in the way) and have it bounce off the rock rail. Leaves a nice crease in the door edge.
