You cant get the 2.0 engine with a manual.I find it interesting that the manual in the 2 door is rated at 2 mpgs more than the auto on the highway, but for the unlimited its the same for both manual and auto. I'd buy the manual for sure if I got 2 mpgs more on the highway.
Correct...recommended but not required. Good Top Tier 87 octane should work just fine.So premium fuel recommended in the 2.0L not required correct?
Highway is about the same because aerodynamics, not the engine, is the primary problem with highway MPG with the Wrangler. I predicted 1mpg higher on the highway due to the smaller engine (which is what we got) and 10% higher (20mpg) city. Sort of amazed that they managed to get 22/23mpg city out of this mild hybrid system, but I guess that's also combined with the smaller / more fuel efficient (when not revving it) engine, which probably got at least 1mpg all by itself.Wow my 22/26 wasn't too far off...22/24 ain't bad I guess...not sure why the highway is about the same as the 3.6l...hopefully real world test show an improvement in this area, which seems to be the case with turbo engines in my experience.
