I'd probably buy a 4Runner.

In fact, if they miraculously announce a 6th gen 4Runner for the 2019 model before Mojito becomes available to order, I'd probably hold off on my purchase. Of course I say, "miraculously" because at the rate they continue to sell, it'll probably be a few more years.

I've had a Tesla Model 3 reservation for almost two years and was planning to have that and keep the FJ. Found out on 12/28 that I couldn't get a heated steering wheel. Ordered the JL the next day and will cancel the model 3 order. BTW, it was my '14 Grand Cherokee that spoiled me with the heated steering wheel.

If you couldn't get a Jeep Wrangler, what would your second choice for a vehicle be?

(Scrambler is disqualified for this thread. Also has to be the vehicle you'd realistically buy instead of a Wrangler, so no Bugattis unless you're filthy rich, and in that case would you please buy me a new Rubi? :)

(If this second choice answer is another Jeep brand vehicle, please provide a third choice non-Jeep brand vehicle as well.)
Raptor.

I guess I would have to fly the old Beech Jet 400a over the Rockies instead of through them.

The fuel efficiency is soooo bad in this one. I took the wife on a simulator flight at Flight Safety in Wichita for Valentine's day.
I took off and landed it on my own. I even let her fly it for a while. Just the opposite of when we go wheeling. She will hardly let me drive the Rubicon.

It didn't hurt that we had a real pilot talking us though all the steps. The simulator cost 22 million which is about 17 million more than a real Beech Jet 400a.

1st gen Land Rover Discovery (with some cash stashed away for repairs).

Or a nice 4 Runner or Taco TRD Off Road

Or a Colorado Zr2

Or an XC90/Range Rover Sport if I really want to overspend.

BMW M4 or a Corvette... I need a fun car and the jeep will be a family fun car...If the jeep wasn't in my cards it would be all about Me Me Me and get either of those 2 cars.

I have been waiting, like forever, for Toyota to put a new... Like as in really new... 4Runner. That was going to be my Go To, drive off into the sunrise vehicle... But then the JL's came out and that was a game changer. The JL's really seemed to be a new type of Wrangler, but still had that classic wrangler attitude. Basically, the JL changed my mind.

I'd wait for the new Acura RDX if it isn't out now, or get a MDX, the latest models are really nice. I know it's totally opposite from the JL.

If I couldn't get the wrangler, I'd have gone with a 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman with the 4x4 Offroad package. I'm not a big fan of the Rebel interior (love the exterior) and the Power Wagon is just too expensive. A distand third would be Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.

I have to admit this one is tempting:

Love that, get a vehicle commonly used by the cops, and watch people flee. Its the same with Silver Dodge Chargers (NC State Troopers) around where I live.
