I'm sorry for your situation. July 2018 JLU Sport V6 Manual 30k and zero issues or failures of any kind. Now on a Rubicon suspension. If I totaled it I would buy the exact vehicle again with my own money. If I was Prince Philips it would be a Rubicon. My personal opinion in general on this issue is the electric power steering is the culprit. I don't like it. You don't get the "feel" of a hydraulic unit. I don't like the ess. I don't like the electric power brakes. You sure aren't going to get me to buy anything with a turbo. I hope this works out for you. Go for another Wrangler so I can give you a wave as I drive by... Tell them you want a month with unlimited mileage before you accept delivery to make sure this one is a keeper. Tom

I would not let them have mine, there is nothing else I would want.

I bought a Sport because of my budget, if it vanished and I had the money I would have to think real hard and I might buy a Rubicon or I might buy another Sport.

I'd get a Gladiator, but only if they would paint it Ocean Blue and put heritage tan leather seat covers in it.

^^^ this - If I had it to do over again, I'd get a Willys rather than another Sport S as the Willys has most of the features I'd like. I don't want/need larger infotainment, upgraded audio, leather, etc. Ideally in orange. But when I was shopping, I had to balance what was available with my budget. No regrets over my Sting Gray Sport S though - it takes tweaks well.

Or I would get a Rubi *if* they got rid of the red dash. That just doesn't work for me, ymmv. I know that is a sensitive point for some :)

I did have a buyback with decent terms. Bought another but in Ocean Blue with a 1touch power top. Almost 30k miles of commuting and weekend wheeling, glad to have a "do over". Wife got one a few months ago and its also been great from day one.

My steering has gotten a bit looser over 20k miles so far so seeing that there’s little that can be done, I’m open to the idea despite liking the Jeep still. I’d go test drive other Jeeps and find one that starts off as good as a 2020 I drove.

I'd let the extra space in my garage sit empty until the 4-door Bronco hits Ford dealerships and buy a Black Diamond or a Badlands with the 2.3T and 7MT.
