Thanks again Jay!Mikey,
If you really want to get technical, you can perform the classic chalk test. This let's you know the best possible 'on-road' tire pressure for your tires on your particular Jeep.
Draw a straight line of chalk across the entire width of your tire and drive a few hundred feet or so. If the chalk line wears evenly, the tire pressure is optimal.
If the chalk is worn more on the outside, your tires are under inflated. If the chalk is worn only on the inside middle, your tires are over inflated.
However, the best pressure is where your Jeep drives and feels 'right' for you.
Experiment a little. You'll find your sweet spot.
However, the lower psi you go the better chance you'll trip your TPMS warnings. But there are ways to suppress that if you are really comfortable at a lower pressure.
Just ask if this is a concern. Typically a third-party programmer like the Tazer is a popular way to lower TPMS thresholds.
