One simple, easy way to disable those annoying Weather Alerts that take up the entire screen 50 times a day!

I wish there was a way to defeat them from the factory too, but I think you can if you have a Tazer.

Move to where you don't get many, Lol! I get an occasional high wind warning, once or twice a year a winter storm warning, and a few tornado watches/warnings. But not often enough to bug me. Maybe 6 to 10 a year.

I'd bet anyone living near a coast would see these a lot, though.

Yes, you can with the Tazer. But you have to disable the entire TravelLink suite.

I saw a TFL video that the Ford Raptor does the same thing; it was driving the staff bonkers.

Makes you wonder what is it that makes automakers want to annoy their customers so much.

You’d think so, but I live in the Houston area and I don’t get them often enough to be annoyed. It would bug me if I had the clear them often.

I just spent a week down in your neck of the woods. Man was the weather nice!

It’s 75 and beautifully sunny right now. But we pay for our great “winters” with brutal summers and nonstop hurricanes for 7 months a year.

Yup, we're one of the few places where topless weather is December thru February :CWL:
I was brave and took mine off back in October...

A way to open the rear glass without opening the tailgate. Actually, I wish my wife's Equinox had that feature too.

I wish mine had fewer electronics crap and a tan interior. I'm tired of black and stories of electronic failures. I miss manual hubs, sway bar disconnects and good old levers for 4wd. FCA could make a more simplified JEEP that's for sure. Think Roxor FCA
I think they make that one. It’s called a CJ if I recall.

I agree with a few things in this thread! Wishing mine had...
- Rain gutter redirect away from pant leg
- AC and heat that have just a dial from hot to cold rather than a temp picker. Setting a temperature in this thing is a guessing game at best (and flat out sends the wrong temp air out at worst)
- Smaller key fob (and for those of us with lower trim levels, the auto unlock without the fob button needing to be pressed. My 2011 and 2013 Challengers had that, for far less expensive cars.)
- more easily flipped softtop rear window. Honestly, for the back window, I preferred the zipper.
- HALF gorram DOORS.

CJ's ended 30+years ago and it wasn't FCA, so no they don't make that one.
Go get one. I see CJs in excellent shape, including fully restored, frequently on Facebook Marketplace.
