I think they make that one. It’s called a CJ if I recall.
The last model CJ7’s do not compare well. I like my JL’s 8spd., 285 hp FI motor, 4/1 transfer case, lockers, 4wheel disc brakes, plush(for a jeep)interior, HVAC, 5 bar suspension and handling highway speeds.
All I would like to see is less problematic electronic features that I posted. All JL’s are over the top in electronics IMO. When I mentioned a Roxor, it was in context of electronics. I built a 1950 CJ3a with improved mechanicals and wheeled it for 14 years, ’91-’05.

When I retired to LaLa land and freeways my CJ had to go. No regrets except as noted.

I wish mine had fewer electronics crap and a tan interior. I'm tired of black and stories of electronic failures. I miss manual hubs, sway bar disconnects and good old levers for 4wd. FCA could make a more simplified JEEP that's for sure. Think Roxor FCA

Come to think of it there is one electronic feature I’d like to see. An Ignore switch, tailgaters, crazy reckless drivers, poof.

What it would look like if Jeep took all of our ideas and built it...
