Ouch so the JL isn't holding value like the JK and its predecessors.
Biggest depreciation happens in the first year, then they hold value well. I got my JLRU with 8k miles on it and about 10-12K cheaper than if it were brand new.

Yeah, I've been a Jeep owner for over a decade and grew up with them.
My previous 2003 TJ Wrangler X was stolen April 2018.
I owned it for twelve years before she was taken away from me.
Its probably pulling a cart in afgahnistan now

Full of ammunition for the turret mounted machine gun in the back of the jeep

On the JK people were trading them in for close to what they paid for it a year prior. Maybe a 2k hit.
The JKs were cheaper than the JLs, and the way the Wrangler's price seems to go up every year kinda bolsters the resale on preevious years hehe.

Stinks that they prices increase but I do love that it results in a solid trade in value lol.

Couldn't be more happier.

After thousands of dollars wasted, I finally traded in my 2018 JL Sport for a 2019 JL Rubicon.

Gone is the Dana 44 LSD rear axle popping, the wandering steering, and the clanking noises during start and transmission shifts.

I went with the 2.0T on the Rubicon that I originally wanted with my original JL Sport purchase. I've owned two VW Turbo cars with similar 2.0T's and I can assure you that this 2.0T in my Rubi is impressive for what it is.

For all of those who recommended me to give up on FCA to fix my JL Sport problems and just trade it in for a Rubicon.
Cheers to you.

Did your old LSD pop while starting out from 1st gear? I'm trying to track down a popping noise that sometimes occurs when I start from a dead stop. If so, if you have any info from having it looked at by a dealer; I'd love to hear it as info online seems light.

Not trying to hijack the thread btw :) I'm also looking at trading in for a rubi next year, so it's nice to know I'm not the only one lol.

Popping at all gears..You only notice it at low speeds to hear the clanking.
I still can't believe that FCA will not take ownership of the problem. Wow.
