Is there any paints that could possibly work to black out these wheels? I think the stock Rubi wheels may have some plastic coating. Just checking. I just think black would look better.

That is just awesome man beautiful! I don't like the silver look at all those wheels just stand out so well! Look so much better blacked out and flat color like that. Exactly what I want. Will look into it thanks!

I agree I like the all black MOAB wheels better than the regular Rubicon wheels. I wonder how well the coating holds up?

I have plastydipped chrome wheels before. After about three years it starts fading or getting thin and some of the chrome started bleeding through. A few coats of plasty dip and it’s good for another few years. Black wheels on the Sarge Green would look excellent. They really go with the black fenders, black roof, and black rock rails!

Definitely plastidip. I have done that before with great results. You spray it on. Just keep it off the tires by using some kind of masking. It will scuff but you can touch it up. You can also remove it later.

PlastiDip is not permanent. yes you can keep reapplying it, but you really should only leave it on long enough to decide if you like the look. then peel it off and paint/powder coat if you want the look permanently.
